blossoming spring trees quilt!

spring has sprung!

the boyfriend and i went out for a walk this afternoon, since it was about sixty degrees and sunny.. so nice to finally get outside! there are only a few tiny patches of snow scattered around the city.. YAY!

bedroom.

it was beautiful and sunny this morning, so i caught a couple of quick photos of our bedroom.. after we move i would like to get frames for the rest of the art, find a huge wall mirror for above the big brown bureau, and will be making our bed quilt (and shams, and throw pillows ;)). i did manage to finish the pillow cases. so, for now....

over at decor8, she posted a whole bunch of amazing spring-time amy butler photos, which i had to re-post and share with you! especially considering we're supposed to get more snow this weekend... SIGH.

i am longing for spring so much, with all of this newly fallen snow on the ground.. but i have some new decor magazines, a couple of new books, an amazing boyfriend whom i love very very much... and spring will come soon enough. and with it, new colors.
